The sample-request form asks for three details: your name, work email, and organization. Harbor uses these to respond to your inquiry.
Who and what this notice covers
This notice describes information handled through the Harbor Signal website by Emile Behrtel, trading as Harbor Light Research. Subscription administration or other correspondence may involve additional information and applicable contractual terms.
Information collected
The contact form collects your name, work email, and organization. It also submits technical and administrative information such as the source page, submission timing, privacy-notice acknowledgement, and the fact that you requested a Harbor Signal sample. The form does not ask for your portfolio, investment objectives, account information, or a free-text research question.
Hosting, network, and Google service providers may process technical data, including IP address, device and browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events, to deliver and protect their services. Correspondence you send separately may contain additional information.
How information is used
Harbor uses inquiry information to respond, provide requested material, discuss subscription fit, and maintain appropriate business records. Information may also be used to secure the website, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal and recordkeeping duties. Requesting a sample does not by itself subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
Google and other service providers
The inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect automated submissions. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals for this security check. The inquiry form can first store a request privately with the website's hosting provider, Cloudflare, before delivering it to Harbor's private Google Sheet and sending an email notification. The temporary website copy is cleared after Google confirms receipt. If that connection is unavailable, the form uses Harbor's existing Google Apps Script service directly. The spreadsheet is not made public by using this form. Providers supporting hosting, security, email, and storage process data needed for those functions.
Information may be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights or security, or to professional advisers as necessary. Harbor does not sell personal information collected through this website.
Retention, security, and location
Inquiry records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. No fixed deletion period is promised by this notice.
No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not submit passwords, payment details, account numbers, trading instructions, or material non-public information. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Your choices and contact
You may contact info@harborlightresearch.com to ask about your information, correct your details, request deletion, or stop further inquiry-related contact. Applicable law determines the rights available and any exceptions, including required records. Identity verification may be needed before a request can be fulfilled.
The service is intended for professional institutional audiences and is not directed to children. This notice may be updated as the service changes; material revisions will carry a revised date.
